Amanda & Evan

After some really gloomy Saturdays, we finally had a very beautiful fall day! The leaves were bright orange and yellow, and the sun came out from behind the clouds just enough to keep us warm. Not only were Amanda and Evan fun to work with, I also got to see some old friends from Manhattan! That's right, even though I'm in the Lawrence area now, I'm still a Wildcat at heart. Here's a little peek at Amanda and Evan's day...

These photos are hilarious! I tell everyone to do something funny on the count of three, and it's always interesting what we turn out with!

Brent

Brent made his first trip to Lawrence for his senior session (all the way from Junction City!). He got a pretty good look at the town with all the places we went to shoot, including a drive through campus and many back alleys near downtown. Like most guys, it wasn't easy getting a smile out of him, but I managed to catch a few!

Kenny (and more Jessie!)

Here's a look at the other half of the afternoon I spent with Jessie and Kenny. They really were a blast to hang out with! They make such a cute pair... see for yourself!...

Mindy & Adam

I always enjoy shooting weddings when I have already done an engagement session with the couple prior to the big day. It gives me a better understanding of the couple and their personalities.  I had this opportunity with Mindy and Adam who happen to be very easy to photograph. They are so laid back, and even though Adam didn't feel well and Mindy's heels were sinking in the wet ground, they never stopped smiling!

How many bridesmaids does it take to dress a bride?...

I cannot even begin to describe how how amazing this guy's performance was during the ceremony- absolutely breathtaking!

Ever seen a red limo? It was a very nice touch!

Got to play with the beautiful evening sky before heading to the reception...
