Jessica, Justin, Ollie & Drake!

Okay, I know I say that most sessions were so fun for me (and that's because they are!), but this session was a blast! If you have followed my blog for some time now, you know that I have a love for dogs. I was SO excited when my friend Jessica and her husband Justin asked for some photos with their pups Ollie and Drake!! If you ever want to include your four-legged family members in your photos, don't hesitate to ask!

Paityn: 8 months

Little miss Paityn is growing up!! It feels like just yesterday I was taking her 3 month photos and now she is sitting up all on her own! We did this session in downtown Parkville on a busy Saturday morning where Paityn attracted many admiring spectators! :) She was pretty hard to resist in that little polka dot dress and headband...

Jackson: 3 months

You may remember Jackson from his newborn session I did a few months back when he was just seven days old. I got to meet back up with him this afternoon, and he has grown up so much already! I remember when I went to do his first session, there was a big rain storm that moved in while we were doing photos. This day was no different! We didn't get too far before the thunder rolled in, so we cut our session short. I was excited about the photos we did get though, so I wanted to share just a few of them. Check back later next week for a peek at the second round!

Tiffany: class of 2011

What a fun session this was! I met up with Tiffany this weekend right here in my hometown and took some photos in a few of her favorite spots around the high school. Afterwards we ventured downtown and then headed out to the gorgeous sunflower field that is in full bloom right now!

The Bretz Family

Meet the Bretz family! We met this weekend at the beautiful Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. If you live in the KC area and have never been there, you are missing out! There are acres and acres of awesome landscaping and hiking trails. It was a joy to work with Matt and Emily, and after spending a couple of hours with them, it's easy to tell why their son Eli is always full of smiles! Here are just a few of my favorite shots from the morning...

Erin and Vic

After multiple road blocks that caused us to reschedule Erin and Vic's engagement session, they made it back to Lawrence from their new, temporary home in Nevada just in time to get some photos done before the big day! We met up on campus at KU this morning and hit up all the places Erin and Vic could remember from when they were students. Here's a little look at our morning...
