Jud: 6 months

Last week on Veteran's Day, I spent some time with this military family! We got lots of great shots of smiley Jud and took a few of him with his parents. There were so many adorable shots that it made it hard to choose what to share in the preview, but here are a few of my favorites...

I think this one has to be absolute favorite! Jud just looks SO happy hanging out with mom and dad!

Thanks Jay and Beth for such a fun session!

Imdieke Family

Meet the Imdieke Family! I love that photography helps me to catch up with people that I haven't seen in years. Rachel and I went to school together growing up, and it was so fun to meet back up and talk life and photography. Yep, this gorgeous momma is also a photographer! Check her out at www.thesimplyjoyful.com or on facebook at Simply Joyful Photography!! This session kept us on our toes. Gabriel is quite the bundle of energy! As long as he was on his feet and running, he was a happy camper. He found a leaf on the ground at the beginning of the shoot, and if you pay close attention to the photos, you will notice that he never once put it down! :)

Can't help but love this one! There's a big smile between those smushed cheeks...

A few photos of just Mike and Rachel that we snuck in while Gabriel was running around...

Courtney: class of 2011

It's always cool to see the progression of people's personalities through a photo session. With few exceptions, most people are a little more reserved in front of the camera at the start of a session, and by the end they are totally themselves. Courtney was beautiful from start to finish, but it was still so fun to see her personality come through as we worked through the shoot. Here are just a few of many gorgeous shots...

The Balmer Family

This is one fun family! They are good friends of mine, and these kids are indescribably amusing! It was a fun afternoon of running through the park, playing in the leaves and climbing trees. Here's a little look at my favorites from the session...

These are Jack and Lorelei's "grossed out" faces...

We also managed to snap a few of just Jon and Lisa while the kids were running around...
