Brian: class of 2011

Great smiles and the most laid-back personality... that pretty much encompasses what I learned about Brian during our session last weekend! He was super easy to get along with and to photograph, which made it hard to choose which photos to share on here since there were so many that I liked! Here is a little look...

Tabby: class of 2011

I just love doing senior photos, because each senior is so different and has their own ideas to bring to the session! We threw in a lot of variety with Tabby- cars, trucks, trains... and even her little brother and boyfriend jumped in for a few shots! I had a great time getting to know Tabby and her family, and I'm so excited to share some of my faves from her session... enjoy!

When Tabby told me she wanted some photos with the Trans Am, I wasn't quite sure where the best spot would be for these photos... until we pulled into the parking garage to find a place to park downtown. It turned out to be a really cool spot with some great dramatic lighting!

Little brother Peyton was excited to climb on the train for some photos with his big sis!

Rob and Anne

I think I picked some of the rainiest days for sessions this week! Rob and Anne were good sports though, and we worked right through the rain drops! Here are a few of my favorite shots from our afternoon...

I love this shot in the back alley, because if you look closely at the ground, you can see the rain lightly falling...

Jackson: 3 months (round 2)

Since we got rained out at the park during our first try at Jackson's 3 month session, we rescheduled, only to find out that we were going to have another rainy day! So we moved things indoors, and I'm so glad we did! We got some great shots, and Jackson was such a happy little guy through the whole thing! He looked so handsome and grown up in his little polo shirt! :)

Madeline: class of 2011

Meet Madeline! She is super fun, down to earth, and has one of the sweetest personalities I know!! All of these things made my task of photographing her way too easy! Check out a few of my many favorites from Madeline's shoot- I'm sure you'll catch a little glimpse of what I'm talking about!!

This was one of the windiest days we have had in a long time, but it didn't bother Madeline one bit! We used it to our advantage and got some great shots with it!

One of the great things about shooting senior sessions is that I get to hear all about goals and future plans. And this girl has got some pretty big and amazing goals that I can definitely see her reaching! Madeline has grown up in the water- competitively swimming most of her life, and her dream is to become a dolphin trainer one day! How awesome is that?! So of course with her love of the water, we headed for the beautiful Chi Omega fountain on campus at KU and splashed around a bit!
