Family Photo Day: part two

I just never know what to expect with children's sessions... even with family, you just don't have a clue how the kids will do. This gorgeous girl Taylor, my cousin Amy's daughter, was not only well-behaved and easy to photograph, but also full of spunk and joy! She even enlightened us with a few jokes which brought out some natural smiles and very cute laughs! These are just a few of the many cute shots we got of Taylor...

Family Photo Day: part one

It seems like recently all the kids in my family have been multiplying! There are so many little ones that we all want photos of, that I decided to host a "family photo day" and just have the whole gang over. The day started out with this precious one! Remember this beautiful baby from a few months back? Yep, my niece Emma! She's six months old already, and I think she just keeps getting cuter! Seriously, just take a look...

More to come very soon!!

Steph & Joe

Here is yet another bride-to-be that is very dear to me! Stephanie has been a close friend of mine since early elementary school, and I'm so thrilled to be a part of this exciting time in her life!! With the wedding coming up in just a few short weeks, we decided to do a quick engagement session to get ready for the big day. Steph and Joe, thanks for fighting the dropping temperatures with me! Can't wait for the wedding!!

Mason

Let me just start by stating the obvious... this boy has got a great smile! I think every time I asked him to smile, I got a good little laugh out of him, which translated to some great, natural shots. Here's a look at a few of my faves from Mason's session!

Jessica & Justin

I felt so honored to photograph this couple's big day! I've known Jessica for a very long time, and I got to know Justin much better when we did their engagement photos earlier this year. So, with that said, I may be a little biased, but Jessica made one gorgeous bride. I think I could post an entire blog entry on just photos of her, but I can't give them all away! Here's a little look at some of my favorite shots and moments...

All eyes on the bride...

Everyone's favorite moment...

A little congratulatory handshake from a very proud dad...

I stole the couple from the dance floor to do a few night shots outside of the reception hall. When we were walking back in, a horse carriage pulled up and offered us a few minutes to take some photos with the horses. If you know Jessica, you know that she loves horses, so it made for a very exciting moment!
