Brody

Brody is turning 2! This little guy may live in the city, but he is a country boy at heart. I haven't met another boy who loves tractors more than Brody! So what better place to go for this session than my family's farm?! Brody didn't seem too sure about me, and was too mesmerized by all the farm equipment to pay any attention to my camera. It wasn't until Farmer Kenny (aka my dad) came out to join us that Brody started opening up. He and the farmer got to drive the new tractor, look at the cows, drive the mule, pick some corn and check the hay. Here is a look at Brody's exploration of the farm...

My favorite part of the session... Farmer Kenny had to sit in the tire first to show Brody how cool it is before he would even go near it!

I just love this photo! It looks like Brody is striking a model pose for me... really I think he was just watching the cat instead of paying attention to the camera :)

The Moyer Family

Meet the Moyer family! We met at South Park in Lawrence on a very beautiful morning to capture some group family shots. Can you believe it's been many, many years since these guys have posed for a photo together? I was so happy to be the one to break the streak for the them!

Dominique & Brent

This is one very good looking couple! And I must say I think Brent is one lucky guy! I met Dominique in college when we lived in the dorms together, and it didn't take long to realize what an awesome person she is. After hearing a lot about Brent, I finally got to meet him at our photo shoot. I'm starting to think Dom is also one lucky girl to have snatched up such a great guy. They were so much fun to hang out with and photograph! Here are just a few of my favorites...

The Bergkamp Wedding

This day felt like two completely separate days wrapped into one! Before the ceremony, it was dark, gloomy and pouring rain... After the ceremony, it was a whole new day! Bright blue skies, golden sunshine and completely dry. Here is a look at Matt and April's wedding day...
