This girl has definitely got some teeth poking through and the slobber to prove it! She is one happy baby though. I'm not sure she ever quits smiling!

Doesn't this photo shout hotel brochure? Maybe they can get picked up by Beaches Resorts or the Disney Cruise Line!

Although these guys said the water was freezing when they were splashing it around, it was a warm enough afternoon that the pool was looking pretty good at this point!

And we must not leave out the other member of the family! Minus her KU bandana, she was a good-lookin' pup! ;)

The Haag Family

This was perhaps one of my easiest sessions in working with little ones! Daphne is quite an angel! Although she wasn't so sure about me, she sat still, listened perfectly and popped a few smiles when bribed with m&m's. It was awesome to see what great parents Brent and Lizzie are to their beautiful daughter! Take a look at a few of my favorites from the morning...

The Boal Wedding

Last weekend I tagged along with Melissa Rieke Photography to this beautiful wedding! I've known Melissa since I was little, and recently reconnected with her when we found out that we were both doing photography. Even with the dreary, rainy weather, this was a stunning wedding with a stunning bride! I loved every minute of hanging back and focusing on all the small details of the day! Here is a little look from my perspective...

Of all the weddings I've been to, this is by far my favorite cake! The detail work on this thing was absolutely amazing!!

Isaac: class of 2011

Isaac! My first 2011 senior! This was a great way to kick off the start of the incoming senior class! The focus of the shoot was not only on Isaac, but also his guitar. He didn't just make it look like he was playing his guitar for these shots... he actually played it through most of the session. It was nice being serenaded all afternoon! Here are a few of my favorite images...

Annalise & Lilly

Can you believe these girls are already almost six months old?! They're finally starting to catch up on their size, and they are as cute as ever! It's only been a few months since their last session, and they have really changed...

Sometimes in doing sessions with little ones, I really wish that I had someone there recording the adults as they attempt to grab attention and smiles. In the series of shots below, the girls were watching their mom do cheers for them! I think I should start turning my camera around to catch these wacky adults :)

The irony in this shot is what makes me like it SO much! Wearing the "I heart mommy and daddy" shirts while screaming to be done with photos!
